Here, the nose seems “gloss first” at the moment but displays class and lanolin with an agreeable waxiness and richness. There is finesse and tension and an elegant white-flower-perfumed, pear-fruited complexity. The perfect conjunction of mineral terroir and lovely subtle complexity. Really bright. Precision, weight and a real sense of place.
