We selected the Saunders ‘Haut’ parcel in 2013/2014. Then we looked at another block just above it called Saunders South. And we also made wines from a block below it called Saunders ‘Bas,’ which is adjacent to our Pinot Noir parcel. But more on that later! The 2023 vintage gave us a focused nose and a mellow kind of green plum, citrus-fruited, briny character, along with tight thiol-derived fruit and savoury mineral notes through the rich mid-palate.
