This 2024 Les Villages Pinot Noir still has much, so much to give, to reveal! If you want to age a truly great Pinot Noir that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg – look no further! It is from the Niagara Escarpment regional appellation — we call it The Bench — and it's a gorgeous, red-fruited, crunchy wine with – typical for the 2024s – an impressive brightness of fruit: cherries, raspberries, and even some super fresh, small forest strawberry overtones. Although elegant, this wine is quite rich and lightly astringent and has beautiful ageing potential. A great nose of durable red and black fruit, currently with cloves and spice behind. Lovely and rose-petaled, rich in the mouth. The striking acidity and the glycerine-silkiness surprises! The finish is long, with only slightly perceptible ripe tannins. Delicious, good right now, yet there is a potential for improvement for the next few years. And it will hold deliciously for long after!

Vous serez ravis. Issu de l'appellation régionale Niagara Escarpment  – que nous appelons « The Bench, » c’est un magnifique vin croquant aux fruits rouges – typique pour les rouges du millésime 2024 – qu’éclatent avec des saveurs de cerise, de framboise et même des notes de petite fraise des bois. Bien qu'élégant, ce vin est assez riche avec des tanins murs encore à fondre. Un superbe nez de fruits rouges et noirs, aux accents de clou de girofle et d'épices en arrière-plan. Délicieux, avec un parfum de pétales de rose en bouche, son acidité saisissante et son soyeux glycériné surprennent. Déjà tellement bon, il continuera de s’améliorer pour quelques années, et se conservera encore longtemps.
