On the nose, one might perceive some of the white peach of NOTL, but here we are—clear across the Peninsula—with some of those similar lakeside flavours! “Classe et mâché” (weight and beauty) and a distinctive, irresistible viscous, almost oily, minerality. From a reddish-soil block just 200M north of the Escarpment, there is a lovely clay-based uniqueness in the way this wine plays across the palate! This is a very cool, classy, defined R.C.B.B. with an ethereal edge!
